Terms of Service

1. What Liinkin is

Liinkin lets you build a page of links and other content at liinkin.com/yourname and share it with anyone. It is free for now and provided as it is (see section 9).

2. Your account

• You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• Give accurate information, and do not choose a username to impersonate someone or to mislead people.
• One person should not run many accounts to get around a suspension or a limit.

3. Your content

You own what you publish. You give us permission to store it, process it (for example, resize your images), and show it to the people you share it with, for as long as it is on Liinkin, and only to run the service. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to publish it, including the images, text, and links you add.

4. What you may not publish

Do not use Liinkin to publish or link to:

• spam, scams, phishing, malware, or anything meant to deceive people or steal their information;
• content that harasses, threatens, or promotes hatred or violence against people or groups;
• sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate images. We report these to the authorities;
• content that is illegal where you or the people you target live, or that helps others commit a crime;
• pages that pretend to be another person, brand, or organization;
• work that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy;
• anything that interferes with the service, its security, or other people’s use of it, including scraping at a scale that harms it.

5. Reports and enforcement

Anyone can report a page, without an account, at liinkin.com/report/ followed by the page’s name. We review reports and may, at our discretion and with or without notice, hide a page, suspend an account, or delete content that breaks these terms or that we believe puts people at risk. A suspended page stops being available to visitors. If you think we got it wrong and we will take another look.

6. Information you collect from visitors

If you add an email sign-up or contact form, you are the one collecting what visitors type into it. Use it lawfully, keep it safe, and honour requests to remove someone’s details. We store it for you and show it only to you.

7. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your pages, uploaded images and inbox (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop running the service, and we will try to give notice where that is reasonable.

8. Payment, and changes to the service

Liinkin is free while we set up payments. It will become a paid subscription; we will say so here and on the site before anything changes, and accounts created before paid subscriptions open will keep full access without charge.

We may change features or set limits (there are already limits on things like the number of pages and the size of uploads). If something you rely on is going to change in a way that matters, we will say so in advance.

9. No promises, and limits on liability

We work to keep Liinkin running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and it may be interrupted or contain errors. Keep your own copy of anything important. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content published by users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell you in the product. Using Liinkin after a change means you accept it.
