Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 September 2026

The short version: we collect what we need to run your page, we do not sell anything, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Here is the detail.

What we collect from you

  • Sign-in details. When you sign in, Google gives us your name, email address, profile picture address, and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password and we never post anything for you.
  • What you publish. Your username, page text, links, block settings, theme, and the images you upload (they are re-encoded and stripped of metadata such as camera details and location).
  • Messages from your visitors. If your page has an email sign-up or contact form, what visitors type (an email address, a name, a message) is stored for you and shown only to you.
  • Reports. If someone reports a page, we store the page address, the reason, any details they write, and an email address only if they choose to give one.

What we collect about people who visit a page

Page owners see privacy-friendly statistics. For each view or link click we record: the date, which page or link, the website they came from (host name only), a broad device type (phone, tablet or desktop), and a country code. To count unique visitors we make a one-way fingerprint from the visitor’s connection and browser combined with a random value that changes every day and is deleted after that day, so it cannot be used to follow anyone from one day to the next. We do not store IP addresses with these statistics, we set no analytics cookies, and we skip visitors who send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, and known bots. Raw events are deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.

Cookies

People who only visit pages get no cookies from us. If you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in (it is essential, marked HttpOnly, and lasts up to 30 days). We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Short-lived technical records

To block abuse (repeated sign-in attempts, form spam), we keep counters tied to an IP address for a short time, and they are cleared automatically within a day. Our servers also keep ordinary error logs.

How we use it

To run the service: to sign you in, to show your page, to show you your statistics and inbox, to keep Liinkin secure, and to review reports and enforce our Terms. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else is involved

  • Google handles sign-in.
  • Cloudflare delivers the site and may store uploaded images for us, so it processes traffic and files on our behalf.
  • Embedded content. If a page includes a video or music player (YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Audiomack), a map (OpenStreetMap maps from OpenFreeMap) or a booking page (Calendly), your browser loads it from the provider, which may see your visit under its own privacy policy. Links on a page take you to sites we do not control.

Fonts and scripts are served from Liinkin itself; no third-party trackers are loaded.

Your choices

  • Delete it. Settings → Delete account removes your account, pages, blocks, statistics, inbox and uploaded images. Any backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
  • Export it. You can download your inbox as a CSV at any time.
  • Ask. To see, correct, or remove information about you, including something a page owner collected through a form, contact us. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to your data protection authority.

Children

Liinkin is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has an account, please report it and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the product.
